Argentina gave them a good scare today. The Sud Amerikaners scored first, and threatened to seal it up several times before Germany managed to put a ball in. With the score tied at one apiece, the game went into extra time, then an additional 40 minutes, then finally into 11m kicks ... and ...

ok, we're all abit excited around here, and the cars are all honking their horns and the neighbourkids are riding their bikes and ringing their bells. It's going to be a long night!
... now we just have to wait and see it England can pull it off against Portugal ...

Things got pretty exciting up here in the northeast as well. Car horns blared for several hours and we even had fireworks. I wonder what will happen if they win it all.
NOBODY WANTS TO KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF GERMANY WINS, BUT IF YOU WANT TO KNOW DON'T ASK ME.
as i mentioned in my last blog entry...i'm sorry but i hope germany goes down. i don't know what it is but germany is my least favorite team. i'm not just talking about the teams that are left in the semis. i guess part of it has to do w/ the fact that the knocked the us out in the last wc. they also beat ecuador in this wc and the coach was pretty arrogant about it. hope y'all are doing well. take care and God bless.
