We are approaching the Fourth of July. Not a big holiday in Germany. No fireworks. No parades. No, well, anything. Life goes on. So it was with a great deal of surprise and joy that I found a friends post on my FB about Thomas Jefferson. This Virginian was the Renaissance Man of Renaissance Men, and I wish I could be more like him in many ways ... here is the link to the article, from the New York Times.
