I cannot believe that our three weeks of time in Virgina is almost over...and I have not blogged...but I've been busy, busy,busy!
so till I can get some photos up to prompt me here are some random happenings:
first off I am being asked many times what I see as different...my response has been "How large the cars are."
...I don't think that is the respnse most people are expecting, but it is the biggest difference that slaps you in the face after two and a half years living in Europe. While sitting facing a large plate glass window in a local cafe, well lunch spot, and having a soft shell crab platter, a regional speciality, I was floored by the huge pickup trucks and SUV's I saw. Some so big I could have crawled on all straight fours under them. Amazing.
